Tucked into the rolling hills of Dripping Springs, Texas, Lucky Arrow is a private retreat where the Hill Country’s quiet wilderness meets considered luxury. Our 15 shaded, breezy acres sit right beside Bell Springs Winery, with just the right touch of wild charm. Yes, the peacocks are real.
Lucky Arrow opened in spring 2019, the vision of owner Mike Paclik, who brought a background in residential building to every detail, from the site plan and the pools to the décor, alongside Maker Architects and Austin designer Laura Britt. The goal was simple: a stay you can’t get anywhere else in the Hill Country, with room for the weddings and gatherings the region was growing into.
OUR STORY
And the name? Before the first cabin went up, a rough-edged arrowhead turned up in the soil on this very land. It felt almost fateful, and it’s been our lucky arrow ever since. Come unplug, recharge your own batteries and reconnect with the people you came with.

An adult pool and a heated family pool, six private cabanas and a poolside bathhouse. Included with your stay.
MAVERICKS
Our private dining hall for groups and events, with a craft cocktail bar, baby grand piano and wraparound veranda.
THE SOCIAL HOUSE
Covered lounge with Biergarten tables, axe throwing, darts, shuffleboard, arcade games and a Texas-size fire pit.
TRAIL & GROUNDS
A 1.25-mile resort trail, communal fire pits, a kids’ playground and BBQ grills (bring your own charcoal).
GENERAL STORE
Open 8 AM–8 PM for barista coffee, local goods, sundries, beer and wine and friendly front desk help.
ARROWHEAD POINT
The private event venue at the top of the resort: Event Hall, Tree Grove, Rooftop Deck and The Overlook.

FROM AUSTIN
Head west on Highway 290 toward Dripping Springs for about 28 miles. Turn right (north) on Bell Springs Road and continue 2.6 miles; we’re on the left, just past Bell Springs Winery.
FROM SAN ANTONIO
US-281 north toward Blanco for 74 miles, east on TX-163 for 18 miles, right on FM 165E for 16 miles, right on Highway 290 for 6 miles, then left on Bell Springs Road for 2.6 miles.

GOOD TO KNOW
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 4–8 PM CT at the front desk. Check-out is by 11 AM CT, lock up, return the key to the lockbox and scramble the code. We'll bill your card on file for any incidentals.
What if I lose my room key?
We use traditional metal keys that can't be replaced, so a lost key means rekeying the lock. Lost keys carry a $250 fee.
Are pets welcome?
Absolutely. Keep pets leashed, pick up after them and register them before arrival ($150 non-refundable, per pet, per reservation).
Will the pools and Social House be open during my stay?
The family pool and the Game Room side of the Social House are always open to guests. The adult pool and the Pool Side may occasionally be reserved for private events.
What's the Wi-Fi like?
Rural Wi-Fi reaches the cabins, yurts, safari tents, camper and Social House. The Event Hall and General Store have hard-wired fiber.
Can I cook outdoors?
Yes, use the park-style BBQ grills around the property (bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid). Personal grills aren't permitted.
Are campfires allowed?
In designated fire pits only. Please put your fire out with water every night and follow any posted burn bans.
Do you have Pack 'n Plays?
Yes, just mention it when you book and we'll set one up.
What is a yurt?
A modern take on the traditional Mongolian herders’ hut, with engineered strength, durable fabrics, heat and AC and a locking door. All the comfort of a cabin, with a dome skylight for stargazing.
Is there a dress code?
Come as you are. Proper swimwear in the pool area (no see-through fabrics); shoes and shirts or cover-ups in the lobby.
When are quiet hours?
Quiet hours start at 9 PM nightly.
POLICIES
THE FINE PRINT
CANCELLATION
30+ days before arrival: full refund of lodging payments. 15 to 29 days: 50% of the total reservation value retained. 0 to 14 days: nonrefundable, 100% owed, including no-shows and early departures. No stay credits.
AGE REQUIREMENT
The guest making the reservation must be 21 or older. Families and children are welcome.
TAXES and fees
A 6% state hotel tax is added to the reservation total, along with a 9% amenity fee. Rates exclude credit card processing fees. Additional fees may apply: $50 for lost-and-found shipping and $20 per hour for early check-in or late checkout.
PETS
$150 non-refundable fee per pet, per reservation. Pets must be registered before arrival and leashed at all times.
CABIN ASSIGNMENT
We may assign specific cabins based on availability at check-in, so specific cabin numbers aren’t guaranteed.
DAMAGE & KEYS
A $150 refundable security deposit is authorized the day before check-in. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, with a $250 damage fee per reservation and a $250 smoking fee per accommodation. Unreturned keys are charged $250.
PRIVACY POLICY
We collect only what we need to confirm and care for your stay or event, your name, contact details and reservation information. Payments are processed securely through Cloudbeds, and we never sell your personal information. We use cookies to understand how our site is used; you can manage them in the cookie banner. ACCESSIBILITY
We want everyone to enjoy Lucky Arrow, online and on property. Our website is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines.
